If you want a program that will help you reach your potential, there is no better place than here! Having successfully trained hundreds of cheer athletes, Northern Elite has the most experienced and dedicated staff of any cheerleading program around. We have produced more college cheerleaders, and UCA Staff members, locally. In addition to our great staff, our facility gives every athlete the opportunity to learn new skills in a safe environment. Open Cheer | Open Dance Tryout Information
Tryout Clinics/Open Gyms
Tryout Clinincs/Open Gyms will be held during the month of April. Here is where you will be able to "fine tune" tour skills in a stress free environment. You will have the opportunity to work on stunts, learn the tryout material, motion technique, dances jump technique and tumbling. If you are interested in trying out for Northern Elite or your high school team, we recommend coming to help you get a step ahead!
Wednesdays: March 28th and April 4th, 11th, 18th
Those Entering K-6th Grade: 6pm-7:30pm
Those Entering 7th-12th Grade: 7:30pm -9:00pm
Cost: $8 per Open Gym - Paid Each Visit
* All checkss should be made payable to Northern Elite*
Tryouts - for all ages 5 years old and above. (K-12th grade)
There will be two separate weekends for tryouts for our Northern Elite teams. You may choose either weekend to tryout for Northern Elite! All tryouts for Northern Elite All Stars will be held at Northern Athletics in Eagan, MN.
You may attend any weekend for tryouts. You may return each weekend for tryouts if so desired! You may attend all clinics and tryout on the last possible tryout date. There are many options for everyone! Everyone will be placed on a team!
Final Squad Placements will be posted on Monday, April 23rd by 12:00pm for all Northern Elite Teams. If you have any questions regarding tryouts please contact Carin.

**Please Note: If you are selected to join one of the Northern Elite Allstar Teams, we will be having a mandatory parent & cheerleader meetings on Sunday April 29th at Northern Athletics.
- 12:00pm: Tiny's, Mini's & Rec. Team
- 1:30pm: Youth & Juniors
- 3:00pm: All Senior Teams
This Meeting will cover be sized for apparel, receiving iformation on payment schedules, fundraising and furhter event and practice information.
The fee to participate on Northern Elite Allstar Teams is $95/month (alternate pricing for 3-5 year olds). This includes all cheer practice times, as well as 2 weekly tumbling classes. Practices begin the week of May 6th.
If you cannot attend your age groups meeting, please contact Carin to schedule an alternative time.
Missed tryouts?
It is sometimes possible to make a team later in the year through a private tryout, but spaces on teams are very limited and we are often only looking for very specific ages or types of athletes. If you have any questions, or would like to arrange a private tryout, please e-mail Carin.
